Watch how you walk into work - your employees are paying attention. Something as simple as how you walk into work in the morning can set the tone for the entire day.

o Walk by an associate without saying good morning, people notice

o Snap at someone first thing in the morning, associates avoid you for the rest of the day

o You seem preoccupied or upset, the “stay away message” will spread

Take a couple seconds before entering work and gather yourself. Walk in with a smile and chat with an associate or two...Regardless of how your day is going.

We must become the change we want to see.
